Yes. ForenSoc ’27 will be held as a hybrid conference, allowing participation both onsite in Istanbul and online.
ForenSoc ’27 will take place on 5–7 February 2027 at Istanbul Medipol University, Kavacık South Campus, Istanbul, Türkiye, and online.
The official language of ForenSoc ’27 is English. All scientific sessions, abstract submissions, presentations, and conference materials will be in English.
Yes. Online participation will be available. Registered online participants will receive access details before the conference.
Yes. Oral and poster presentations may be delivered onsite or online, depending on the selected participation format and programme availability.
ForenSoc ’27 accepts abstracts for Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation. The selected presentation type indicates the author’s preference. Final allocation as oral or poster presentation will be determined by the Scientific Committee.
Yes. Accepted posters will be displayed digitally through the conference website and will remain available for a limited period after the conference.
Yes. Digital certificates will be issued after the conference. Registered participants will receive a certificate of participation. Presenting authors of accepted oral and poster presentations will receive a certificate of presentation.
Yes. Accepted abstracts will be included in the digital abstract book of the conference, which will be made publicly available through the conference website.
No. Workshops and training sessions are not included in the general conference registration fee. Separate registration and payment will apply.
No. Registration fees are the same for onsite and online participation.
No. Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. The conference does not provide official hotel arrangements or accommodation packages.
Participants are responsible for checking and completing any visa requirements for entry into Türkiye. Visa requirements may vary depending on nationality, passport type, and country of residence.
A registration confirmation letter may be provided upon request only after registration and payment have been completed. This letter confirms registration for ForenSoc ’27 and does not imply financial support, travel support, accommodation support, or any guarantee of visa approval.

ForenSoc ’27 welcomes academics, researchers, students, forensic scientists, legal professionals, psychologists, criminologists, social scientists, medical professionals, police and justice-sector professionals, communication scholars, institutional representatives, and professionals from related fields.
No. Participants may attend ForenSoc ’27 without submitting an abstract. Abstract submission is required only for participants who wish to present an oral or poster presentation.
Abstracts must be submitted through the online abstract submission form available on the conference website. Abstracts sent by e-mail may not be considered unless otherwise announced by the organizers.
Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
Yes. Abstracts may be structured or unstructured depending on the nature of the study. Empirical studies may follow a structured format, while theoretical, legal, conceptual, policy-oriented, or practice-based submissions may use an appropriate narrative format.
Yes. Accepted abstracts will be included in the final scientific programme only after the presenting author has completed registration within the announced deadline.
Yes. Student registration is available for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students. A valid student document may be requested when necessary.
After submitting the registration form, participants will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail. Payment instructions will be sent by e-mail.
The early bird registration deadline is 11 December 2026. After this date, standard registration fees will apply.
